I just want to quote something that once again struck me while listening to a favorite band.
"Just don't leave me the scraps, I'm WORTH MORE!"
I found it very apt, especially since I am working on just that. My worth.
Every day is a new challenge, every experience an opportunity for growth. Today I was presented with one that challenged my worth and from it I was presented with two valuable lessons,
1. TRUST my intuition - despite outside influences
and
2. STAY PRESENT - without expectation.

This post reminded me of a quote I heard long ago by Christoph Friedrich Blumhardt:
"We have to learn to live in what is coming from God every day and to carry a light from this awareness into the darkness."

Welcome friend and thank you graciously for your participation on my blog. It is such an honor to have you here, sharing my journey and my space with me. A space where I express all of me in an exercise to learn more about the 'me' that is part of everything.
This quote is magical, friend thank you... and yet again it makes me realise the importance of accepting "what is" happening in my life every moment, to not resist what is happening... and with that acceptance and contemplation comes clarity, which allows us to brighten our own little light little by little, so we may be beacons in the darkness.
One of my most amazing teachers once said that if we have the courage and give ourselves permission to let our light shine, we unconsciously give others the permission to let theirs shine too. :)
Thank you for the light you contribute to this world, and for bringing your light to my blog too. It is greatly appreciated and welcomed in love, honor, dignity and respect.
Keep shining friend and keep believing
